Our Providers

Melissa Damiano D.O.

Dr. Damiano is originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania.   She earned a Bachelor of Science degree (in Biology) and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Scranton.  She then attended medical school at The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  

Following medical school, Dr. Damiano and her husband settled in Delaware. She completed her pediatric residency training at Thomas Jefferson University/A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children. Dr. Damiano joined Delaware Pediatrics in July 2014 after finishing her residency training.   She is a Board-Certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics

Dr. Damiano’s professional interests include patient/family education and  breastfeeding support.  Dr. Damiano is married with a young daughter. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking/baking, traveling, exercising, and watching movies.

New @ Delaware Peds


    We wanted to make everyone aware that we are moving our office location to 1403 Foulk Road, Suite 103. We will be in the new location January 14th. The building is in the same complex it is just closer to the entrance (3 buildings closer). There will be signs help you find the new office. This was at the discretion of the landlord. We apologize for the inconvience.

    Dr Franczyk will start seeing patients, on Wednesdays, at our Appoquinimink office starting July 3rd. This will help increase our patient’s access to his care. He will continue his normal office hours on Monday, Thursday and Friday at the North Wilmington office.
